‘University Student Startup Ecosystem: Build Up 2.0’ forum held

Jang Dae-ik, President of the Startup College at Gachon University, stated that “the existing entrepreneurship education for university students has largely operated on the support of the government and local governments,” and added, “In the future, universities will evolve to share each other's entrepreneurship education methodologies and experiences to grow the university student entrepreneur community even larger.”

Meanwhile, Gachon University Startup College was ranked 7th in the world in the Entrepreneurship category at the ‘2024 World University Ranking of Innovation (WURI) Conference’ held at Franklin University in Switzerland. Minerva University took the overall 1st place, while the University of Montreal ranked 1st in the ‘Entrepreneurship’ category; Tsinghua University was 22nd, and KAIST was 25th.
