"College students analyzed their reading preferences and developed a dating app that connects people.
Gachon University announced that fourth-year student Go Do-hyeon (Department of Tourism Management), third-year student Lee Tae-hee (Department of Food Bioengineering), and Kim Dong-hyun (Department of Industrial Engineering) will officially launch the dating app 'Bookbla' that connects people based on reading preferences on the 28th.
Bookbla is a term combining 'Book' and 'Bla', which helps male and female college students naturally create a bond through books and encourages them to become lovers.
The students received systematic startup education and practical mentoring through professors and field experts with startup experience at the startup college, covering topics such as:
▲ Idea and concept validation ▲ App development and testing ▲ Business model analysis and validation ▲ Legal review and scale-up strategy, and established Bookbla in February and incorporated the company in April.
Receiving high evaluations for the project's viability, they also secured external investment of 100 million won."
