Gachon University Startup College seniors Ko Do-hyun (Department of Tourism Management), Lee Tae-hee (Department of Food Bioengineering), and Kim Dong-hyun (Department of Industrial Engineering)
will officially launch a dating app called ‘Bookbla’ that connects people through analyzing reading preferences on the 28th.
Bookbla is a term that combines ‘Book’ and ‘Bla’, aimed at helping male and female college students easily create a bond through books
and providing a matching service exclusive to college students.
Students have received systematic startup education and practical mentoring, including support from professors and field experts with startup experience at Gachon Coco Nest School, through
▲ idea and concept validation ▲ app development and testing ▲ business model analysis and validation ▲ legal review and scale-up strategy, etc.
They established Bookbla in February and completed the incorporation in April.
The project's business viability has been highly assessed, and they have also secured 100 million KRW in external investment.
